Discord - voice and text chat for gamers

Hi guys, it is been a long pause on our website due to our exams and stuff but we are now back with more interesting stuff for you guys. Today we are going to meet Discord. If you are into online gaming and MOBA type games then you must have used or heard about Discord. It is one of the most versatile app out there for voice and text based chat. There are other apps like Skype or Teamspeak but Discord is unique in it's own way. Let's get to know more about this app.

• Cross-platform - One of the most important thing about discord is that this app is cross-platform. You can use it in Windows, Linux, Mac, iPhone, Android and even a web version if you dont like to download and install the app. In Linux we used it on Ubuntu and Arch without any problems.

• Stable - This app is seriously stable. It is even more stable then OS sometimes (LOL). It worked smoothly on mobile, on both Ubuntu and Arch. We also used it on windows and it didn't disappoint us there too. Discord consumes very low amount of ram and CPU usage.
• Features - Discord probably have more features compared to skype or teamspeak. Most of all it is completely free of cost. It gives IP & DDoS protection. It also gives browser support, mobile support, in-game overlay, multiple channels, bots for customization and entertainment, friend lists, direct messaging, low latency, etc.

There are lots of customizations to channels, one can make separate channels for different games or can merge them all at one place and categorize them. Another fun part of discord is the bots. Recently we introduced you guys with Itch. It is a great place for Indie fun. We also said that we will be covering some cool games. So today it is a treat for gamers (especially Indie game lovers), we are going to know a little about game Streets of Rogue. This game is developed by the person named Madguy a.k.a. Matt Dabrowski. According to him, this game has multiple genres like stealth, brawler, shooter, co-op, RPG, roguelike, etc. On the other hand, according to us, this game is pure fun.

Itch.io - your portal to Indie world

Recently we have been doing some weird things and suddenly we found out something which is very satisfying to a gamer's urges. Now if you are into gaming, then you simply can't say no to wonderful Indie games. We have encountered with such site which is dedicated for Indie developers to publish their games. So what you will get on Itch.io? A paradise full of Indie games. On Itch, there are tons of Indie games for all three platforms i.e. Windows, macOS, Linux. More on it, Itch also provides a dedicated client for PC to manage all your games easily.

The Expendabros - a game for real bros

Hello bros and gamers,
Today, we are back with a game topic after a long long time (actually not long but still long). While many of us likes to play intense graphics games, because why not? That is what we built our amazing rig for. But sometimes there are games which are not much of a stress on GPU but still gives best package out of the box. Almost everyone played those retro pixel graphics games in their childhood and nowadays, there are game makers who still makes those type of games. Many of you must have played Pewdiepie : Legend of Brofist or Mercenary Kings, these were one of the best examples of retro style modern games.

Today, we will be talking about The Expendabros. This game is released in 2014 August, I know it's old enough but who cares if you are going to have fun. This game is developed by Free Lives Games teamed up with Lionsgate. It has that retro look and feel from the childhood games and gameplay is just amazing without a doubt. This game is for BROs.

This game is basically parody of The Expendables 3 movie. In this game you have 7 playable characters which resembles to movie characters. You have to unlock all characters by rescuing them. Team of bros is assembled to stop arms dealer Conrad Stonebanks in this amazing ten missions game. There are many dangers and ofcource enemy are always waiting to kill you. One of the most interesting thing about this game is 'Local Multiplayer Co-Op Mode' upto four players (I just miss the old local co-op games a lot). You can gather more bro to play together with you and that is something much more than just having fun.

As you guys can clearly see the retro style graphics of this game in screenshots. This also gives advantage of running on old hardware. This game don't require much resources so good choice for old PCs. This game is just plain and simple kill or get killed. And if anyone wondering about price, this is free on Steam (It is our site's niche to provide information about free and open-source stuff). So, why waiting? Alto's Adventure : a game that everyone should play

We hope you are having fun with your consoles, pc, phones. No? then you should start to have fun with them, because when it comes to games then nothing else comes between. Apart from all that we have a cool game to tell you guys about. Read the title? yeah, that's right. It's Alto's Adventure.

So what is it in this game? Ever played snowboarding game on your smartphone? if yes, then add this one to your collection. If no then it's a cool game to start with. Basically there's a boy named Alto, who lives in a village far far in the snowy mountains. He has some tamed llamas, who breaks the fence and ran in the wilds. Alto now needs to rescue those llamas and bring them back to village. While doing that he will go through different villages, forests, ruins, chasms and blah blah blah (i suck at explaining stories).

Now let's come to the part of graphics. Hell yeah it's awesome. This game has beautiful artwork and graphics and guess what it has minimal design which makes this game absolute (not absolut vodka :p ) eye-candy. Gameplay is awesome, totally physics based but sometimes you have to go with your instincts. Combos, hell yeah. Combo system is there, you have to score combos by combining various tricks in a streak. And sound, what a wonderful sound this game have, gamemakers also suggest to use headphones for enjoying the sound to fullest. No last part is size, Noodlecake studios made sure not to make this game too big. It's only 38-40 MB, so anyone can download and enjoy it.

               Well this news is especially for gamers and ofcourse for Minecraft lovers. The news is that Minecraft PE is now available for Windows Phone. So if you wonder your WP is not having much games then just chill and have some faith in awesome device and OS you are holding in your hand.
WP version of Minecraft includes creative mode and survival mode along with open world exploration thing. And yes it also features a multiplayer function over a local Wi-Fi network. As said above with open world exploration counts infinite worlds, villages, etc etc.

Osu! - amzing game for anime and music lovers

Hello guys and gamers,

                              We hope you guys are having good time with us. We are also trying to bring some interesting information for you and in this try today we are bringing a game especially for anime and music lovers.

The name of game is Osu! It is ofcource free and open-source game and players can also contribute their creations in this game. So what is this game actually?  It is a rhythm game in which we have to keep up with the notations to keep the song playing. 

There are other games like that what different in this? particularly this game is more directed towards anime lovers, plus it have very beautiful artwork and even embedded videos while playing it. One more interesting thing about this game is you can create a bitmap with your own song. The bitmap creator is also included in windows version of this game. Plus it is a cross-platform game which is available in Windows, Mac, Windows phone, Android, iOS. Not to mention it is lightweight game.

As you can see in below screen shots the welcome screen has interesting graphical interface just click on that big Osu! and you will get started.
