Well it's been quite a time since the release of 16.04 LTS. So if you guys are using the flavored thing i.e. Kubuntu 16.04 then we have a little good news for you. KDE plasma 5.6.4 is now available via updates for you guys.
So what is the basic requirement for this? simply the Kubuntu 16.04 installed in your pc. and to update you have to follow the thing right below.

sudo apt-add-repository ppa:/kubuntu-ppa/backports
sudo apt update && sudo apt -y full-upgrade
