Hi guys, it is been a long pause on our website due to our exams and stuff but we are now back with more interesting stuff for you guys. Today we are going to meet Discord. If you are into online gaming and MOBA type games then you must have used or heard about Discord. It is one of the most versatile app out there for voice and text based chat. [Quick Tip] How to reduce brightness during night time in android

HI guys, many times we want to use our phone in night time and it is just too bright for our eyes. Most of phones supports brightness reduction up to certain level but it is still high for our eyes. There is a solution for this problem, you can simply reduce brightness even below phone's minimum range. To do this you will need an app called Screen Filter. To use Screen Filter app you need to have a rooted phone with Xposed installed in it, otherwise it won't work.

Once you downloaded and installed Screen Filter app from Xposed, activate it within Xposed and reboot your phone. After this you are ready to use screen filter app. This app has some basic settings to adjust from. Even though it looks so simple but it makes huge difference. Adjust your settings according to your taste. It also features a color filter to reduce blue light during night time. Once you are done setting up brightness level and color filter just tap on ON/OFF button to start it.

[Quick Tips] IFTTT : An interesting way to Manage multiple things at once

Hello fellas, ever thought of changing both Facebook and Twitter display pictures simultaneously. Or thought about automatically link your blog post to your Facebook account. Or automatically tweet about your Instagram pics whenever you upload one on Instagram. If you did thought about all these then we have an great app to make your life easier. IFTTT is an android / iOS app and web service which connects your social accounts and do wonders. It works on the philosophy "If you do this then you can do that".

 IFTTT simply connects multiple service and link their activities together. For example, on local level you can set timer to silent your phone at night and vice-versa in day time. Or you can tell IFTTT to turn of your wifi when you leave home, again vice-versa. On social level you can update your Twitter display picture as you change it in Facebook. You can backup your SMS automatically on your email address as soon as they arrive. There are simply endless possibilities in IFTTT. When using default task manager, one can do pretty much all the things needed. But there are times when you just want to know some more about a process or need some more details that default task manager can't provide. To solve this problem or to give this extra advantage, there is an application named process manager. One can get various information of the system and processes using this tool.

What can I do with this application?

Well, you can do everything that default task manager do plus there is a bonus of more information. By using this application, you can see the list of current running processes. You can decide which to keep and which to kill. Moreover, you can see detailed information of what DLL a process using or which particular handles are opened by a process. There are two panes, upper pane show list of processes running while lower pane shows DLL or handles used by that particular process. In a simple way if you want to pinpoint a particular DLL and which process is using that DLL, you can do it with this application. Good thing about this application is that there is an option to replace it with default task manager, so you can always open it using default ctrl+alt+del combo.

How to install Synapse launcher in Manjaro Linux?

If you are using unity or gnome desktop environment then you already know bash feature, which gives quick assess to lots of things. But on other desktop environments, this function is somewhat missing. To fill this gap we can use a good looking launcher named Synapse. It is not only good looking but also lightweight. It works similar to bash in unity. It is available for Debian-based distro such as Ubuntu, but it is also available for Arch based distro too.

The easiest way to install Synapse in Manjaro is by using octopi. Simply launch octopi and search for Synapse in the search box. Facebook Launched new Events app for iOS

Facebook starts testing end-to-end encryption in Messenger

Finally! Facebook started testing end-to-end encryption on their messenger messaging app.As most of the other messaging apps were already rolling out this feature,now Facebook messenger won't be back in this list.Facebook is calling it Secret Conversation,which will be one-to-one conversation.Yes,you get it right,it won't be available for all contacts by default,instead you can start secret conversation with the contacts you want to.

 Though,it's quite better and useful as many users would like their conversation(s),accessible from different devices when they switch among PCs,Mobile phones or tablets.On Addition to end-to-end encryption,there's one more feature providing extra security layer i.e. you can set a timer for messages you sent,So that messages will be visible till set time.Currently,Video and GIF files are unsupported,additional to that making payments through messenger is also not added for now.You can see in the screen shot below,How a secret conversation works(If it's not visible clearly,please click on the image to full-view the image)

For now,Facebook is rolling Messenger with Secret Conversation for limited users to test this feature,they will be releasing it widely for other users later on this summer.
Though,If you have used Telegram messaging app then you might have already used similar features like one-to-one secret chat and self-destruct timer for messages.Let's see how Facebook Messenger will differentiate itself from other messaging apps by adding interesting things.We're also waiting to test these features,if you are lucky then you may get the chance to test it :)
